Yodeling: an important update

Our internet traffic data reveal that one of our most popular posts is Guy’s answer to a reader’s question about yodeling. This has surprised us. Guy had, frankly, expected (and certainly hoped) that some of his more incisive substantive posts would do better in the rankings — for example, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, or even this one. But we get it now. We Our audience wants to know more about yodeling. And our suggestion that they spend a few minutes with the yodeling pickle, though appreciated, is not sufficient for the hardcore yodeler. Because we at Notes and Rests are here, above all else, to serve our vast readership — and also because good liberals listen to markets — you will be delighted to learn that our research staff is now engaged in a far-reaching effort to learn more about yodeling, information we will share from time to time right here. Tonight’s “Rest,” for example, will feature a famous yodeling event from popular culture. And for those who prefer to read rather than just listen, here’s a Scientific American article that will teach you all you wish to know about yodeling (and, possibly, even more). So, yodelers, bookmark Notes and Rests. Check back often. Spread the word! [The Scientific American article is via the Daily Dish. Thanks Andrew!]

About Guy N. Texas

Guy N. Texas is the pen name of a lawyer living in Dallas, who is now a liberal. He was once conservative, but this word has so morphed in meaning that he can no longer call himself that in good conscience. Guy has no political aspirations. He speaks only for himself.
