Jon Stewart on the difference between a “socialist government program” and a “hallmark of civilized society”

The salient difference — reading between the lines of a recent on-air rant by Fox News anchor, Megyn Kelly — is that it’s a “hallmark of a civilized society” if Ms. Kelly needs it, and it’s heavy-handed government intrusion if she does not. This is reminiscent of the GOP tea partiers who carried signs last year reading “keep your filthy government hands off my Medicare.” Such lapses in logical thinking make for hilarious comedy. Link is here. About Guy N. Texas

Guy N. Texas is the pen name of a lawyer living in Dallas, who is now a liberal. He was once conservative, but this word has so morphed in meaning that he can no longer call himself that in good conscience. Guy has no political aspirations. He speaks only for himself.
