The extraordinary influence of RedState.org’s Erick Erickson on the House GOP “tea partiers”

It’s too bad I tend to write about what I think is true, rather than what serves me best, because being a blogger for the far right looks to be a much better job. In this “tweet” (what a silly word) Erickson brags about one of his opinion pieces being passed around among House Republicans before a vote:

The opinion piece that was allegedly passed around is here. Erickson also wrote this piece about his inability to give “absolution” for an incorrect vote, i.e. one for compromise on the debt ceiling, as though he fancies himself a kind of Pope.

About Guy N. Texas

Guy N. Texas is the pen name of a lawyer living in Dallas, who is now a liberal. He was once conservative, but this word has so morphed in meaning that he can no longer call himself that in good conscience. Guy has no political aspirations. He speaks only for himself.
